 | This park facility was constructed by the developer for the use and enjoyment of Flying Horse owners and the general public. The park is currently owned, maintained and programmed by the Flying Horse Metro District.
The District Board of Directors has adopted these use guidelines for the park:
- The facility is available daily for general public use, unless maintenance activities close an area or the entire park. Areas of the park may be reserved for exclusive use functions on a first come - first served basis. Check the Barefoot Park Calendar for daily park status.
- Flying Horse owners will have priority rights to reserve the park, but not exclusive rights to private use.
- Organized team use (teams that compete in organized leagues) of the playfield area (soccer and baseball fields) or roller rink requires prior District approval. Use fees and damage deposits may be required as a term of use for organized team use; the facility may not be used under muddy or other unsafe conditions.
- Fees for private use may be charged as well as damage deposits, depending on the size and nature of event.
- Insurance certificates must be submitted to the District prior to any event with the following listed as co-insureds:
- Flying Horse Metro District #1,
- Flying Horse Homeowners Association, Inc.
- Classic Development -- Flying Horse, LLC
- Classic Homes, Inc.
- Private groups will be responsible for all costs associated with their group's activity and may be required by the District to add additional trash and temporary restroom facilities.
- Vehicles belonging to park users shall park in the parking lot, or along Rollercoaster Road -- vehicles are not permitted along Diamond Creek Drive or Honey Run Way.
- Noise regulations will be strictly enforced.
- All users use the facility at their own risk.
